About Paul Hawley

I understand that buying or selling a home is an important decision. It is my goal, that through personal and attentive service, to guide you through this significant experience. I will listen and work closely with you to find exactly what it is you are looking for. It's my passion for real estate and for helping people that drives me to provide committed and friendly service to all who I work with. I was born in Victoria but later moved to Vancouver to further my first career as a musician. I spent 15 years as a touring musician and creative voice in the band Hot Hot Heat. Through my work with the band I was able to travel the world extensively and play many shows and festivals with other acts such as the Foo Fighters, The Killers, Randy Bachman, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Coldplay. I was fortunate enough to play some of the biggest stages in the world on four continents and was nominated for 2 Juno awards. It taught me invaluable lessons in interpersonal relationships, business management and good old fashioned hard work. I also learned that through a combination of talent, hard work and a bit of luck any goal can be attained. After working as a musician, I spent time working in the Set Decoration department of many major motion pictures and various television productions. This work gave me a keen eye for interior design which transfers well to my career as a realtor. I enjoy visualizing the potential that every home holds! I loved my time spent on the coast but had felt the pull of the Okanagan for many years. My mother and father in law live in Kelowna (who are both retired realtors), and I have spent many years visiting this beautiful city. I knew one day we would live here. My wife, daughter and I finally made the move, and haven't looked back. My diverse experience and proven entrepreneurial success have given me the tools to take the stress out of the buying and selling process for you.
